Sending your child to camp can be a big decision. The benefits of attending camp are endless.  For years, campers’ parents have reported that when their children return home from camp they are more caring, understand the importance of giving, are more equipped to stand up for what they know is right, and are willing to be more responsible. This is because camp is a safe place to take risks, such as: making new friends, camping out, sliding down the super slide, shooting archery, or horseback riding. Camp Norwesca offers challenge by choice; your campers chose their challenges. This allows them to step outside of their comfort zone and try new activities that they wouldn’t normally try. All of our activities take place in well monitored environments and are designed to encourage kids to push through self-imposed limitations and accomplish things that will strengthen their confidence and ignite a sense of adventure in them.

As a summer camp professional, I recognize the value of introducing these kids to different programs and people that will build upon the work we have done at home and challenge them in new ways to strengthen their faith and build valuable life skills. As the Director of Camp Norwesca, I train and challenge my staff to create a camp experience for your child that will last a lifetime. The same experience that I would expect for my child. The first step in accomplishing this goal is hiring the best summer staff available. We hire strong young Christians that project excitement, passion, joy, and kindness, to lead your child on their summer adventure.
