Facilities Available
Camp Norwesca’s Four-Season Retreat Center
Camp Norwesca’s four-season retreat center can host up to 32 guests in 16 double-occupancy rooms, with full linens provided for a comfortable stay.

The Lodge, our retreat center meeting room, small retreat kitchen, and dining area are wheelchair accessible, along with two sleeping rooms and their shared restroom for added convenience.
​
Our dining room seats up to 80 guests, featuring a hospitality bar available at all times. Our industrial kitchen serves delicious, home-cooked meals and snacks for your group.
​
The large retreat center meeting room is perfect for meetings, conferences, and sewing retreats. A small retreat kitchen is also available for smaller gatherings. The Lodge’s extra meeting space includes a grand fireplace, making it a cozy spot to relax with a book or connect with friends and family.

The Lodge recreation area offers a variety of games for all ages, including ping pong, foosball, air hockey, checkers, and carpet ball.
Additional Lodging (May - October)
From May to October, our five rustic cabins can accommodate up to 50 guests. Each cabin has single beds or bunk beds, sleeping 10 individuals per cabin. Groups provide their own bedding and towels.

Our Red and Blue cabins feature private restrooms with a toilet and sink.

A shower house is centrally located for all cabins.
Surrounded by Nature & Outdoor Adventure
Camp Norwesca is next door to Chadron State Park and surrounded by the Nebraska National Forest, offering hiking, wildlife viewing, and outdoor recreation. Hunters are welcome, with lodging available during hunting season.
Pet-Friendly Stays
A one-time, non-refundable pet fee of $25 per pet covers wear and tear and property damage.

Retreat Options at Camp Norwesca (Updated for 2025)
Lodging

Standard Lodge Rooms: $70 per night (double occupancy). Includes linens, towels, and access to shared restrooms, as well as indoor and outdoor common areas.

Classic Cabins: $35 per night per cabin (3 available). Each cabin accommodates up to 10 people with a 4-person minimum. Please bring your own linens and towels.

MetCalf Cabins: $55 per night per cabin (2 available). Each accommodates up to 10 people with a private restroom and 4-person minimum. Please bring your own linens and towels.

Tent Camping: $15 per person per night (camping gear available upon request).
Cabins are opened seasonally from April through October and share a shower house.
10.5% lodging and sales tax will be added to all lodging costs.
Meeting Spaces

Full Campus Daily Rental: $200 per day (exclusive access to the Recreation Area, Fireplace Area, Dining Hall, Conference Room, and Retreat Kitchen).

Commercial Kitchen Rental (with Norwesca Staff): $15 per hour.
Now booking for Fall 2025 through Summer 2026 weekends and weekday retreats.
Activities
All activities are available seasonally or upon request, and several are staff-led for your safety and enjoyment.

Indoor Board & Rec Games: Included with any overnight stay.

Chapel & Outdoor Space Use: $50 per day per group.

Craft Cabin: $60 per day per group.

Low Ropes Course (Seasonal, Staff Led): $100 per hour per group (5-person minimum).

Archery (Seasonal, Staff Led): $60 per hour per group (5-person minimum).

Super Slide (Seasonal, Staff Led): $80 per hour per group (10-person minimum).
Our new “Ropes for Hope” low ropes course, built in Spring 2025, is available for leadership, team-building, and youth group retreats beginning June 2025.
Meals

Dining Hall Meals (Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner): $12 per person per meal.

All-Day Meal Package: $30 per person (includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

Continental Breakfast: $6 per person (includes oatmeal, toast, cereal, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, and juice).

Snacks: $3 per person (granola bars, chips, fruit cups, or cookies).
Meals are available upon request, subject to staffing. A 5.5% meal tax applies.
Specialized meal requests are available for an additional fee.
Coffee and tea are available all day at no extra cost.
Booking Information (2025–2026)
A 50% deposit is required to hold the date of your event. Deposits are non-refundable and applied to your final bill if all policies are upheld and no property damage occurs.
Camp Norwesca is an alcohol-free facility.

Outdoor Activities
Outdoor activities at Camp Norwesca will keep you busy! There is a large lawn, perfect for playing frisbee and soccer or choose another great game from our activity shed. You will also find a half basketball court, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pit, gaga ball pit, and access to hiking trails through the whispering pines. You can also have a staff member lead camp activities; such as archery and super slide! Enjoy a worship service in our beautiful outdoor Chapel. Meditation areas also provide a place for quiet reflection, while our campfire ring offers a wonderful opportunity for gathering, singing, and s’mores! Our large hill is an excellent place for sledding and wintertime fun! Camp Norwesca’s trails are also a wonderful place for hiking, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, and mountain biking.
